Thank you for writing this, it ministered to me. It is important to heed that nudging of the Holy Spirit and not ignore it. It benefits the giver and receiver.

I'm sure your presence meant a lot to him. It's funny how those of us who minister in occasions like that are generally the ones left changed the most. Thanks for writing about it. Have a great week! :)

charles
Charles
thanx for this.
2 times recently God has impressed on me to step outside of the comfortable. i went and prayed over someone who is feeling ill (after arguing with God that He surely did not want me to be so arrogant as to think that if i prayed over someone it would make a difference. But was asssured that God answered-- right away--what if i had not obeyed? God remains God and does not need me but what a privilige to be a part of that.
Then this morning in service i looked over at someone i know is ill and thanked God for the ability to move to the music while i still can (cause we never know what tomorrow brings) and felt impressed to go tell him that i knew he was dancing on the inside--though his body slowed him down--fought against it (though was reminded by what happened that i should obey God) did it--struggled afterward with thinking i was just insensitive in how i handled it--but cannot ignore Gods prompting and have to trust that if God asked it of me--He will do whatever He wants --my duty/privilige is to obey

Obedience to God always brings blessing to someone. Following His lead effects not just the one following but also those around the person following Christ. May we all be given the grace that the dying man recieved when it is our time to be with Him. Precious in the sight of the Lord are those whose time has come. In His Love and cCare, Mary (joyfuljournies)
